Collect for Epiphany
(4 January)
O God,
who by the leading of a star
manifested your only Son to the peoples of the earth:
mercifully grant that we,
who know you now by faith,
may at last behold your glory face to face;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

More details will be available next week.
May dear Joan rest in peace and rise in glory.
We have learned that Sally Vaughan died peacefully on 15 December. She was a faithful member of the Holy Trinity
congregation in the 1980s and 1990s and a church warden before she retired from the civil service and moved to Salisbury in
1998. The funeral service is at 2.30 p.m. on 7 January at Salisbury Crematorium. Details can be checked by emailing
jerryrvfowler@gmail.com. Any recollections of her Wimbledon years
would be gratefully received at that email address.

Prayer
|
Eternal God,
who by a star led the nations to the light of your Son:
reveal your glory among us,
that all peoples may know your salvation.
Guide us, like the wise men,
to seek Christ with faith and humility,
to offer the gifts of our lives in his service,
and to walk in his light all our days.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
